APPLICATION/CONTRACT
All AKC Registered Puppies Come With:
1. AKC registration papers.
2. one-year health guarantee (see terms below)
3. Puppies being picked up come with a collar, leash, food and water bowls, puppy food, and puppy toy (if puppy is shipped a carrier will be provided)
4. A complete physical exam by a licensed veterinarian will be given puppies purchased with full registration or if puppy is flying.
5. Current vaccinations and worming program up to date for age and size of puppy or adult dog.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
The purchase of any puppy is subject to the following terms and conditions:
All puppies sold by Prairie North Kennels (Craig and Kathleen Fleming) will come with a current vaccination and deworming record (according to age and size of puppy or adult dog) and a physical exam by a licensed verterinarian. All puppies sold with full registration must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase of the puppy. A copy of the examination must be mailed to the seller within 2 weeks of purchase date for any quarantee to be valid. Guarantee starts at the date of pickup or shipping.
Congenital Defects: If you puppy develops a congenital condition and this condition would severely impact the quality of the puppy's life, then you will receive a replacement puppy. The condition must be documented by a licensed veterinarian.
Death: In the case of a death of a puppy an autopsy stating the cause of death would be required verifying no fault on the new owner’s behalf before allotting a replacement puppy.
This contract is void if the puppy is bred before it reaches 12 months of age. This contract is not transferable and will only apply to the original purchaser of the puppy.
In the event that this guarantee is exercised, it would be subject to the availability of another litter of equal value which could take up to one full year.
This contract must be filled out, signed and returned to seller by the time the puppy is picked up or shipped to the buyer. In the case that it is not filled out correctly it voids the guarantee.
There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e.: allergies, thyroid dysfuntion, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee:
The breeder guarantees a healthy pet, but does not guarantee adult size, color or eye color. If for some untreatable health reason, death or other unforeseen factor that occurs to the puppy while still with the breeder after the initiation of the contract then for this reason only the breeder will refund the deposit or apply it toward the puchase of another puppy whichever option the buyer requests. A $100 deposit is required for all puppies being sold as pet quality and a $200 deposit is required for all puppies being sold with breeding rights. These deposits are nonrefundable but may be placed against another puppy. Deposits are considered a commitment by the buyer to providing the best nutrition, health care and personal care possible for the duration of the dog's life. If for some reason the buyer forfeits on the purchase of the puppy and does not want to apply the deposit towards another puppy then the buyer shall receive any monies placed on the said puppy minus the non-refundable deposit within 30 days of notification to the seller.
AKC registration papers for any puppy sold with such will be supplied or mailed as soon as the breeder receives them.
The buyer must mail a copy of new puppy’s check up by a licensed veterinarian to Prairie North Kennel/Craig and Kathleen Fleming within 2 weeks after the purchase of the puppy if not, the guarantee void. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. Buyers acceptance of this contract constitutes that an agreement has been met and this sale has been consummated in agreement between the buyer and seller. Should the buyer default on this contract, then he/she shall be responsible for all attorney fees and court costs involved in the event of a litigation.
All deposit and payments made on the puppy must be by USPS money order, cash, or paypal unless otherwise agreed to by the seller.
